Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Well a couple of months since my last proper action-packed update has flown by quicker than I thought :o)
So what’s been happening? As usual life hasn’t slowed down however I’m able to work more efficiently now. I have a really great PA Jurate who manages new enquiries, bookings, my calendar and other time-consuming yet very necessary tasks thus enabling me to focus on my clients with undivided attention.

As the wedding season is truly upon us I am fully immersed – bridal lessons are particularly popular with brides-to-be who are getting married abroad or won’t have access to the makeup artist of their choice. Most of them e-mail me some photos from their wedding day and it’s lovely to see how well they’ve mastered their bridal look.

I’ve been very busy with 1-2-1 lessons – teaching anything from 18-year-olds right up to 70s+. It is so sweet to hear from clients saying “I’m 60 (or 70) and it’s the first time I am having a makeup lesson”. They are so lovely and so keen to learn. One sweet lady wrote to me that she has even laminated the notes we did during the lesson about makeup application steps and techniques to refer to them in the future. I absolutely love seeing such eagerness to learn.

I also teach a lot of business-women who want to learn how to look good in the office and change their makeup in minutes for the after-work drinks or to step off a plane looking fresh and fabulous and head straight to a meeting. Each lesson includes several professional portraits which most of my clients then use for their business or social media profiles. They also serve as a good reminder of the makeup look they’ve learned at the lesson.

I am delighted to be invited to be a regular contributor to www.thecareerstylist.com which has been created by one of my lovely brides Beth Reacher who is a life coach and business mentor. Beth has created a successful and inspirational blog for women who want to thrive in their careers and businesses. My first article was “A Two Minute Morning Beauty Routine to Save the Day”. I have also submitted a few more which are due to be published shortly.

My K-Team is very much in existence now and due to huge demand I’ve fully trained and been able to add 2 more team members. Now I have 3 great makeup artists: Aušra, Amy and Tanya.

Aušra has been in my team for the last 16 months or so and has made many beautiful brides very happy – her feedback speaks for itself.

Amy and Tanya are very recent additions and both have been through rigorous and detailed training with me. Prior to coming to me they both studied at well-known makeup schools – Amy at Brushstroke and Tanya at Illamasqua.
In addition there is the lovely Kasia who is an incredible hairstylist and already a member of the K-Team. Her talents as well as friendly and helpful personality are a great asset. To make my team complete I also am delighted to be working with Kristida (www.kristida.com) who is a truly wonderful photographer. She sees great photo opportunities and captures them in the most beautiful and sensitive way. You can feel raw emotions of the moment radiating through her images. Her wedding story collages are something very special.

And then my new website is in the process of being born – I love my current one, but I’m just outgrowing it, now I’m on the brink of a very special new website… Hold tight! All will be revealed soon!

Warmest wishes to you all and hope you are enjoying glorious summer days!
