With this post I’m asking and answering a question for brides-to-be: is it important to have your makeup and hair done professionally?
Imagine this: it took you somewhere between 12 and 24 months to plan your perfect wedding and you were dreaming about it for a lot longer than that…
…everything looks perfect, just as you wanted it: the venue, the flowers, your dress, the table plan, your guest book, the wedding cars, bridesmaids’ dresses, thank you cards… all of it. You’ve even hired an award-winning photographer and videographer to capture it all…
…but what will everyone take notice of and check out the most? YOU of course – the bride! The groom will also get some attention but you’ll be stealing the show. Every bride does (nothing against grooms but hey, we know how it really goes!). Everyone always waits in anticipation for you to make your first appearance.
So why would you, a bride-to-be, someone who’ll be admired by your nearest and dearest, not want to look the most beautiful version of you ever?!
Why take a chance and risk looking anything less than awesome when everything else you so meticulously planned looks pristine? When thinking about your wedding budget why would you want to save on the cost of makeup and/or hair – when your face will be looked at the most throughout your wedding day, not to mention in the pictures for ever after?
One of the most frequent regrets we hear when we meet new clients who are already married is that they wish they had met us before their wedding. This is the biggest compliment but also a bit of a sad thing to hear when brides felt that they didn’t look the best they possibly could on their wedding day.
So the moral of the story is – don’t make the same mistake! You know where to find us!
This year’s bookings have now started to break the flood-gates. It’s going to be a bumper year, especially with the Royal wedding in the Spring, everyone’s going to be wedding crazy! So reserve your dates with the
fabulous K-Team ASAP!
As I mentioned in my last blog post this year I’ll personally be taking on fewer weddings myself to free up time for other exciting creative ventures.
The K-Team however will be at full throttle keeping our brides looking ecstatic and feeling happy. All of the girls are constantly learning new skills, creating masterpieces and demonstrating a complete and utter obsession with all things bridal beauty. The gazillion “thank you” cards they receive means we’re all on the right path with the highest standards and friendliest service for our brides and clients.
