It was meant to be. After several years of soul-searching for my dream career it dawned on me whilst in the makeup chair on the morning of my wedding – what an incredible job this is to make women look AND feel amazing. The same way I did on my wedding day! And that’s how this journey began…
Soon after my wedding, I took a professional course at the makeup school run by my bridal makeup artist and it changed my life more than I could have ever expected!
I’ve never felt happier and more fulfilled in my career. I often have to pinch myself as I still can’t believe I’m actually doing something that I love so much for a living. Something that hopefully making a difference in women’s lives making them feel their most beautiful ever. This builds confidence and self-appreciation and isn’t happiness so addictive?
The constant flow of thank-you e-mails, cards, chocolates and sometimes even handmade gifts make me and my team very happy… Happiness that’s shared by hundreds of our satisfied, very beautiful clients.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Makeup as if you were born this way. Mine and the K-Team‘s signature styles are red-carpet-worthy looks that are elegant, modern and most importantly very flattering to each individual. That’s what we do best because we believe that every bride, every woman deserves to look like a superstar. A harmony of skilfully applied makeup, perfectly styled hair and our client’s personal style. Enhancing the most flattering natural features.
Every woman deserves to be styled to perfection on occasions that are special to them: be it a wedding, birthday, celebrity event or awards ceremony. We do all of these and more!
Our thorough knowledge of corrective makeup techniques, subtle or striking colours, sophisticated and incredibly flattering hairstyles ensure that each client looks polished, on-trend and worthy of hitting the red-carpet event of their life.
Customer service is as important to us as the practical skills of our trade. It’s part of the whole experience – expect a relaxing, friendly and helpful service which goes the extra mile and a half.

ABOUT ME
I’ve been working as a bridal makeup artist since 2009 and won The Wedding Industry Awards NATIONAL AWARD for best Bridal Makeup Artist in 2013, this involved votes cast by my previous brides as well as the opinions of an experienced panel of judges. As of 2017 I am now on The Wedding Industry Awards judging panel!
Prior to becoming a makeup artist I worked in business development for a large corporation for 8 years and definitely don’t think I would be where I am today if it were not for the experience I gained there in excellent customer service and work ethic.
I studied makeup artistry and fashion styling at several renowned makeup schools in Europe and the UK.
My studies included subjects such as the theory and practice of colour matching and its psychology, contouring, corrective makeup techniques and the application of a broad range of makeup styles such as bridal, fashion and photographic.
My other passion is photography. I simply love photographing women looking incredible and capturing them at their most flattering. I have studied professional photography and apply this knowledge and experience to my makeup skills. I offer a photography service as part of each makeup appointment which means that my clients are left with a lasting memory of how beautiful and special they look with professionally applied makeup.
I’ve been teaching professional makeup courses since around 2013 and in 2015 set up the Kristina Beauty Gasperas Academy with the aim of training and empowering people who want to go into the makeup/hairstyling industry to follow their dreams and make them reality. My students are trained as thoroughly as I was and come out as ready-made makeup artists/hairstylists ready to take the world by storm. If you do something that you love for a living it is no longer just a job and makes every day fun!
I’m originally from Lithuania (so can speak English, Lithuanian and Russian) and moved to the UK when I was 18 years old, I now live very happily with my husband and son in southwest London, close to where my studio is based. I also travel to clients all over the UK and to popular destination wedding locations around the world – especially Italy, France and the Balearic islands of Ibiza and Mallorca.
OUTSIDE OF WORK
I love books, mainly biographies and educational but occasionally romantic or historic fiction. Thanks to audible books I am able to “read” whilst driving to clients. Sometimes I spend hours in the car and these are by no means wasted – thank goodness for technology! One of my favourite books is “The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris” – it’s genius! I’ve never been so good at prioritising and delegating tasks.
I enjoy keeping fit and the great outdoors, a lot of my spare time is spent cycling in nearby Richmond Park, especially during the amazing sunrises and sunsets. I also enjoy leisurely strolls and eating alfresco in and around my local area.
When it comes to holidays my family and I are snowboarders so we hit the Austrian alps as often as we can but are also partial to a beach holiday or two to recharge the batteries and top up the tan :o)
